- Anna coloring and drawing all the time, and mostly loving it, until she gets flustered that she doesn't color perfectly in the lines, at which time she supervises someone else to color and make it look how she wants it to look.
- Warm, sunny weather today beckoning us to the pool for the first time this year.
- Anna's sudden passion for building things out of her connecting blocks and the excitement she feels when she's created something new.
- CSA veggies! We got our first share today, and we're overflowing with fresh, crisp, healthy greens.
- The knowledge that in 4-6 weeks, we'll be in our new home watching a beautiful sunset from our yard.
- Lightroom finally arrived! Now if we only had the space for it on our computer.
The challenging, the exhausting, the frustrating:
- Screaming fits and meltdowns with the most minute transition; separation anxiety accompanied by "Don't GO, Mommy!" over and over again in a wailing scream so the whole neighborhood can hear; rejection of Daddy to the highest degree; peeing in her pants; new sleep difficulties; ongoing fear of other kids.
- My lack of patience and feeling ill-equipped to handle it all.
- The unbelievable To Do list and the dollars that accompany packing, moving, renovating, and decorating.
- Unpredictable contractors and uncertain timelines.
- Aging or stress-related (?) aches and pains that won't subside.
- The perception of not enough time.
- A mess of a house with piles of laundry, papers, toys, and dishes everywhere.

Sigh. It is REALLY hard to move with a toddler. You'll get there, and it will be worth all of the hassle.
