Here and Gone

The snow, that is. Thankfully, we were able to milk two short episodes of fun out of the minimal snowfall we received in southeast Michigan. With just three days of snow play, it is, in my estimation, the worst winter I can remember as far as beauty and time outside is concerned. It's been raining more than snowing...in mid January! I'm so ready for snow, and LOTS of it.

Anna and Blake took advantage of the short-lived accumulation on Saturday morning while I renewed my CPR certification and took a Spinning class.

Anna informed me that she was eating snow while Daddy took this picture.

On Sunday, Emily, Michael, Harper, and Crosby came over for a short sledding adventure. It was very cold and windy, but it was fun, nonetheless. We warmed up inside and shared dinner after sledding - a perfect way to spend Sunday on our long weekend.

I still can't believe Crosby will be 1 year in March already!

Be careful of what you ask for....I said the same thing last week and yesterday was nearly housebound due to snow. I love the snow however, and really it was like a wonderland here, so beautiful.

Nothing like sledding to bring out smiles. All those girls are getting so big, and cuter every day.
