Anna has a new obsession after Wednesday's adventure to the roller rink. All she talked about for the rest of the day was getting some roller blades or roller skates (and pads, of course...I was surprised that none of the kids at the preschool session wore a helmet or pads of any kind, nor were they provided at the arena). I was able to walk on the rink and hold her hand while she got used to gliding on the slippery floors - can you imagine trying to roller skate 6 months pregnant? She started getting particularly brave at the end, letting go and trying it all on her own. This girl always impresses me with her passion for trying new things.
A special lunch date for Anna and me (spaghetti included, of course).

Looks like fun and she sure enjoys her spaghetti. Have a great week end. Love Mo J
This little girl is so special...love the smile she gets on her face when she's having her "pasta" or when she has done something she is proud of...
I remember getting my first pair of roller skates...metal, with a key you had to use to tighten them. They would be "antiques" now.
Love, Mo D
Way to go Anna! I loved, loved, loved roller skating. Next time, I think a side pony tail is in order!
Just a tip from someone whose daughter is similarly roller-rink-obsessed: blades are way easier to skate with than skates!
